It seems like every day we read about another one or two automobile accidents happening in St. George, Utah. What is frightening to those of us who are frequent users of the roads is that many of them are the result of someone running a stop sign or stop light. For example, on Tuesday evening, November 19, 2013, two cars were damaged when the driver of a black Pontiac Grand Am traveling east on Riverside Drive, reportedly ran a red light, then slammed on his brakes causing his car to skid into a blue Honda Accord that was stopped at the intersection. The Grand Am then smashed into a cement wall. St. George News.
At Injury Defenders, we want to make the roads a safer place for all of us. The roads only become safer as drivers remember to obey the rules of the road that they learned in high school. Although we are personal injury attorneys in St. George and Las Vegas, we would rather have safer roads for all of us than make a few bucks helping the next person injured by the carelessness of another. The toll on the person injured, their family and society is too high to be ignored. We all need to work together to make the roads a safer place. We need to work together to make certain that we all obey the rules of the road that are designed to make the roads a safer place for each of us.
